Jeffrey Epstein recently admitted to a journalist about the authenticity of the controversial photograph featuring the former Duke of York and Virginia Giuffre. This confirmation dispels previous doubts regarding the image’s validity, as revealed through Epstein’s statement to a reporter.
In an email exchange, Epstein acknowledged that Virginia was on his plane and had her picture taken with Prince Andrew, similar to many of his employees. This leaked email also disclosed Donald Trump’s extended visit to Epstein’s residence with one of the financier’s accusers.
The correspondence, dated back to 2011, coincides with the time when Prince Andrew posed for the photograph with Virginia, who was 17 years old at the time. Despite Virginia’s tragic passing in April, she recounted how Epstein captured the moment on a disposable camera before a night out with Ghislaine Maxwell.
Previously, supporters of Prince Andrew claimed the photo was fabricated. However, the leaked emails have dealt a severe blow to the former prince, who recently lost his royal titles amid ongoing controversies surrounding Virginia. Newly unsealed documents from Epstein’s estate, including the revealing email, shed light on the interactions between Andrew, Epstein, and Maxwell post the prince’s supposed distancing from Epstein.
Furthermore, discussions have arisen about a potential alteration to Andrew’s name, possibly including a hyphen as requested by the late Queen. This proposed change to Mountbatten-Windsor aligns with royal tradition and the Queen’s past directives regarding the family surname for non-princely descendants.
