Darts Prodigy Luke Littler Mulls £50M “I’m a Celebrity” Offer

Must read

Luke Littler humorously mentioned that he might contemplate entering the I’m a Celebrity jungle if a substantial £50 million offer was presented, despite his current reservations after watching the show this season.

The 18-year-old darts prodigy has been closely following this year’s show to support his friend, Angry Ginge. Speculation arose about Littler potentially joining the ITV program following Ginge’s participation, with Littler stating he would think about it if the financial incentive was right.

“When asked about the possibility of following in Ginge’s footsteps, Littler remarked, ‘Perhaps, if the price is right. I could consider a brief stint,'” he shared in a recent statement.

However, Littler has now elaborated on the specific amount that would constitute the “right price,” indicating a diminished enthusiasm for the jungle experience.

During a recent interview with talkSPORT, Littler expressed, “Initially, I said I’d participate if the offer was appealing, but witnessing the demanding challenges on the show, I now find it unfeasible to take part.”

When questioned if he would reconsider for £10 million, Littler declined. Subsequently, when the interviewer proposed a staggering £50 million, Littler altered his response to a tentative “maybe.”

Describing his apprehensions about the jungle, Littler added, “The idea of facing snakes and similar challenges is daunting.” He lightheartedly quipped, “Who knows, maybe I’ll fly over… Not really!”

While Angry Ginge prepares for his upcoming bushtucker trial, Littler is gearing up to defend his title at the PDC World Darts Championship, commencing at Ally Pally next month. Littler, who clinched the world championship last year as the youngest ever champion in darts history, returns to the renowned venue as the sport’s newly crowned world No. 1.

Set to emulate Gary Anderson’s feat by aiming to be the first player in a decade to retain the Sid Waddell trophy, Littler commences his title defense with a first-round match against Darius Labanauskas on December 11.
