“Crossbow Killer Confesses to Triple Murder”

Must read

Kyle Clifford has confessed to the brutal murders of three women in a shocking crossbow assault that deeply disturbed the nation. The 26-year-old admitted to the killings of BBC racing commentator John Hunt’s family – Carol Hunt, Louise, and Hannah – in Bushey, Hertfordshire, last year. He also acknowledged falsely imprisoning Louise and was found with a 10-inch butcher’s knife and a crossbow.

Carol, 61, succumbed to stab wounds on her chest and abdomen, while Hannah, 28, and Louise, 25, died from crossbow injuries. Clifford, from Enfield, north London, delayed police questioning by injuring himself with a crossbow bolt before being located. He was discovered unconscious in Lavender Hill Cemetery in Enfield and hospitalized.

An aerial video showed Clifford on a stretcher receiving medical treatment after injuring his spinal cord, resulting in paralysis. Reports indicated he was unlikely to regain mobility. Clifford, a former British Army member, now uses a wheelchair and has difficulty speaking due to a “voice injury.”

Awaiting trial at HMP Norwich, where notorious criminals like Reggie Kray and Ronnie Biggs were held, Clifford appeared in court via videolink from prison. Disabled prisoners at HMP Norwich are integrated with the general population, with necessary accommodations made. Clifford’s brother Bradley Clifford, a convicted murderer, is serving a life sentence for a fatal altercation involving a moped rider and passenger in 2018.
