A tragic car accident has claimed the lives of a young beauty queen and her boyfriend, just a week after she won her crown. Alison Montano Guerrero and Jesus Eduardo Severiano García were involved in a fatal collision with a lorry on Friday afternoon, leaving them trapped inside their vehicle.
Responders who arrived at the scene could only confirm the couple’s passing. Alison, who had been crowned Miss Teocaltiche 2025 eight days prior, had expressed her love for her hometown during the pageant. She emphasized that true beauty lies in showing respect and love towards others.
Alison, a dedicated student studying Psychology and Education at Centro Universitario de los Altos, was highly regarded by local media. Her university and authorities in Teocaltiche expressed their condolences and paid tribute to her strong values and enduring impact.
Despite not being very active on social media, Alison had amassed over 5,000 followers on Instagram. Her final post, shared on November 6, featured her in a black hat and brown top. The cause of the crash on Mexico’s Jalostotitlán-Teocaltiche highway remains under investigation by the Jalisco State Prosecutor’s Office.
