Barron Trump shows off glowing tan as he follows in dad’s bronzed footsteps

Must read

Donald Trump’s son Barron appears to be following in his father’s infamously orange footsteps after debuting an enviable glow ahead of the historic inauguration.

Over the years, Trump has become known for his orange tan and it seems his love of the radiant look has rubbed off on his son Barron, who has been spotted sporting a healthy glow. While all eyes have been firmly on his father as he takes the Oath of Office, some observers couldn’t help but notice Barron’s new look – which included a slick back hairdo and sharp cheekbones.

As he attended a church ceremony in St John’s Episcopal Church opposite the White House on Monday, 20 January, Barron bore an uncanny resemblance to his father. While at 6’7 he towered over his dad, the NYU student’s bronzed cheekbones and forehead sparked immediate parallels with his father’s looks in his younger years.

While Barron hasn’t addressed his tanned look, his father’s own distinct look has been the subject of many discussions in recent years. Speaking to the Mirror last year, celebrity makeup artist Safia Cox gave her verdict on the President’s orange glow.

“I think he uses some sort of fake tan or tinted moisturiser with a bronzer. I 100% do not think it’s sun beds as it would be a completely different tone,” she said.

“I think it’s some sort of fake tan or some sort of tinted moisturizer with bronzer, and he’s then used powder with it. It’s definitely some sort of cream product that he uses and has probably mattified it after because it’s so orange,” and added: “You can see the rim around his face. If you look closely at his hairline, it’s very pale, and that’s not from sunbeds; he’s slapping some sort of cream product on.”

She continued: “I think his makeup has changed over the years, and I think it as he’s got older and potentially a little more insecure. The ever changing orange hue has become the subject of many internet discussions and memes – with people wondering why he likes to be so orange.”

While this marks Trump’s second time in the White House, a lot has changed for Barron since he witnessed his dad first become US President in 2017. Having grown up in the White House, Barron graduated from high school last May and is now a student at New York University.

Since enrolling at university, Barron has opted to live at Trump Tower, though his mother Melania has revealed that he will have a room at the White House following his father’s inauguration so he can “come and visit”.

“I feel as children, we have them till they are 18, 19 years old. We teach them, we guide them, and then we give them the wings to fly,” she said on Fox & Friends, “I always respect Barron’s yes and no, and what he likes to do, where he would like to be.”

And Trump too has expressed his pride at Barron’s achievements. “He was accepted to a lot of colleges,” he told the Daily Mail. “He’s a very smart guy, and he’ll be going to Stern, the business school, which is a great school at NYU.”

“I’ve known NYU for a long time,” he continued. “It’s one of the highest rated.”
