An expert in aviation has unveiled a potential breakthrough that could provide answers to the long-standing mystery surrounding the disappearance of flight MH370.
Ismail Hamad, Chief Engineer at Egyptair, expressed optimism about a significant development that could bring closure to the tragic incident. Following the suspension of search operations by marine robotics company Ocean Infinity in April, Malaysia’s Transport Minister, Anthony Loke, cited seasonal constraints as the reason for the pause.
The search efforts are currently on hold as discussions continue on the best course of action. The Boeing 777, with 227 passengers and 12 crew members onboard, vanished on its route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing back in March 2014, marking one of the most perplexing incidents in aviation history.
Despite the lack of progress in locating the aircraft, Ismail Hamad remains steadfast in his belief that a resolution is within reach. He raised doubts about the authenticity of images showing the plane’s wreckage in the ocean, suggesting discrepancies in the condition of the wreckage.
Speculation and theories abound regarding the fate of the plane, but Ismail asserts that a hijacking scenario could explain the mysterious disappearance. He posited that if a hijacker aimed to evade detection, landing on remote airstrips or water bodies amidst the Philippine archipelago would offer a strategic advantage.
Challenging conventional assumptions, Ismail emphasized the challenges a pilot would face in executing such a meticulously planned operation. He highlighted the complexities of navigating over vast distances without advanced systems and technical aids, proposing a more focused search area encompassing the Malacca Strait to the Perth coast.
In the quest for answers, Ismail’s insights offer a fresh perspective on the enigma surrounding flight MH370 and the enduring quest to unravel its secrets.
