On May 29, Jenna, an influencer with over 50,000 TikTok followers, breathed her last after spending five days under hospice care. Her sister, Paige, shared the heartbreaking news through a poignant video on Jenna’s TikTok account on June 2, fulfilling Jenna’s wish for updates in such a situation.

Through tears, Paige expressed, “This is not a video anyone should ever have to make, but it was her one request that if anything did happen I would update you guys.” She also revealed Jenna’s last words to their parents in the hospice, stating “It’s beautiful,” conveying a sense of peace in her final moments.

Jenna’s battle with cervical cancer began almost two years ago on June 26, 2024. Her obituary highlighted her courageous fight against the illness, surrounded by loved ones, showing remarkable strength and bravery until the end.

Originally from Stockholm, South Dakota, Jenna, a 23-year-old graduate of Milbank High School, used her TikTok platform to raise awareness about cervical cancer symptoms, particularly among younger women. Her video titled “How I found out I had Stage 4 cancer” amassed over 3.4 million views, shedding light on her unexpected diagnosis journey.

In the video, Jenna recounted her shock at learning about her adenoid carcinoma diagnosis after what she thought was a routine check-up. Despite initial hopes of treatability at stage three, aggressive cancer spread post-chemo and radiotherapy, revealing a grim prognosis.

Jenna candidly shared with her followers the progression of her cancer from cervix, uterus, and lymph nodes to a broader spread. Notably, her cancer, unrelated to HPV, puzzled doctors due to its rarity and her age, leaving them baffled by the diagnosis complexities.

Despite the grim reality, Jenna continued to use her influence to stress the importance of prioritizing one’s health. Reflecting on her journey, she emphasized the need to embrace life fully, given the uncertainty it holds, resonating deeply with her audience.
