A woman sustained critical injuries after being attacked by an individual who reportedly poured petrol on her and set her on fire. The incident, suspected to be an arson attack involving a petrol bomb, occurred in Clondalkin, Dublin, around 10:10 am this morning. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the matter.
The victim was rushed to the hospital for treatment of severe burn injuries, while a man also received medical attention for non-life-threatening injuries. The police have cordoned off the area for forensic examination, and a Senior Investigating Officer has been assigned to lead the inquiry at Clondalkin Garda Station.
