Russian President Vladimir Putin allegedly engaged in infidelity with an underage beauty pageant contestant while in a long-term relationship with Olympic gymnast Alina Kabaeva. The claims, reported by Russian investigative journalists, suggest that Putin had a relationship with 17-year-old Alisa Kharcheva, who was reportedly introduced to his official residence or secret retreats when Kabaeva was not present.
Alisa Kharcheva, who was involved in a steamy calendar created to celebrate Putin’s birthday, caught Putin’s attention and reportedly developed a close relationship with him. The calendar, produced by the Nashi youth movement, featured girls aiming to please Putin, with Alisa posing as Miss April.
According to sources, Alisa’s contacts were shared with the Kremlin alongside the calendar, leading to a meeting between her and Putin at his suburban residence. Their intimate relationship allegedly began during these encounters when Kabaeva was away.
Despite Putin’s public separation from his wife in 2013, Alisa continued to visit him regularly, even making appearances on television and in the Miss Russia contest. While she did not win the competition, Alisa’s ties to Putin were used by Nashi leaders to gain influence and favor.
Although Putin eventually distanced himself from Alisa, reports suggest that he helped secure privileges for her family, including a job for her father and a luxury apartment in Moscow. Alisa, now a successful businesswoman, has not denied her connections to Putin.
Recent revelations about Putin’s alleged affairs have surfaced, indicating a discrepancy between his public stance on traditional marriages and his personal relationships. Putin has defended his privacy rights, criticizing intrusive inquiries into his personal life.
