Police are currently probing the death of a one-year-old child in Australia and have requested public assistance. The incident occurred at the child’s residence, approximately 110km northwest of Melbourne, on Tuesday, November 4, when the child became unresponsive. The child was subsequently taken to the hospital by his 26-year-old mother and her 18-year-old partner, but tragically passed away on Thursday, November 6.
Victoria Police mentioned that the exact circumstances surrounding the child’s demise are still under investigation. Detectives from the Homicide Squad and the Ballarat Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Investigation Team have engaged with the mother and her partner as part of the ongoing inquiry.
