Nigel Farage Denies Racism Allegations from School Days

Must read

Nigel Farage has recently addressed accusations of racism from his school days, emphasizing that such claims date back 49 years and asserting his commitment to not racially abusing individuals in a derogatory manner. Former classmates from Dulwich College alleged that Farage made troubling remarks supporting Hitler, referenced gas chambers in a jesting manner, and reportedly discriminated based on skin color.

In an interview with ITV News, Farage denied racially abusing fellow students, emphasizing the time lapse of nearly five decades and stating that he would never intentionally cause harm based on someone’s background. Despite being pressed on the matter, Farage reiterated that he did not engage in racially abusive behavior with malice or intent.

While some individuals have come forward with allegations, it should be noted that no adult viewpoints of Farage align with those attributed to him during his youth. Additionally, some former classmates do not recall the specific incidents described by certain accusers.

A spokesperson for Reform UK dismissed the allegations, labeling them as unsubstantiated and lacking contemporaneous evidence. The party views these claims as a deliberate attempt to discredit them, especially as they have shown strong performance in numerous opinion polls and have their leader considered a frontrunner for the next Prime Minister role.
