Mother Claims Missing Son’s Body on Display in Vegas

Must read

A mother’s tragic loss took a disturbing turn when she found herself entangled in a perplexing mystery involving a Las Vegas museum, disturbing allegations, and what she believes to be her missing son’s plastinated body on display.

Kim Erick’s journey began after the death of her son, Christopher Todd Erick, at 23, initially attributed to natural causes or suicide. However, Kim’s relentless pursuit of truth led her to unearth unsettling details from Midlothian Police Department records, painting a grim picture of her son’s demise.

Claiming to have discovered her son’s body at a Real Bodies exhibition in Las Vegas, Kim alleges that Christopher was tortured before his death, citing crime scene photos showing injuries and signs of cyanide poisoning. Despite the official cause of death being amended to cyanide toxicity, subsequent investigations failed to prove foul play conclusively, leaving the case labelled as a suicide by “undetermined means.”

Years later, Kim was shaken to her core when she stumbled upon a figure at the Real Bodies exhibition she believed to be her son, known as “The Thinker.” Convinced by specific identifying marks on the plastinated body, she demanded DNA testing to confirm her suspicions. However, her efforts faced obstacles as she claimed the body was relocated without evidence to Union City, Tennessee.

While Imagine Exhibitions, Inc. – the company behind Real Bodies – vehemently denied Kim’s claims, asserting that the specimen in question predated Christopher’s death, Kim remains resolute in her belief. With the body’s whereabouts uncertain, she fears Christopher’s remains may be among the unclaimed ashes discovered in Nevada.

Despite conflicting accounts, Kim refuses to relent in her quest for closure, adamant that her son deserves the truth in death as he did in life.
