“Epstein Advised to Distance from Prince Andrew: Documents Reveal”

Must read

The late billionaire Jeffrey Epstein received advice to avoid associating with then-Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson in an effort to improve his tarnished reputation, according to recently released documents from the Epstein files. Osborne & Partners LLP, a PR firm, recommended that Epstein distance himself from the royal couple to divert attention away from negative media coverage linking him to them. The strategy aimed to highlight Epstein’s philanthropic endeavors and support for scientific causes while steering clear of any connections to Andrew and Ferguson.

The documents highlighted the need for Epstein to steer clear of the Prince Andrew/Sarah Ferguson association, which was perceived as a hindrance to his image rehabilitation. The advice emphasized the influence of certain UK newspapers, particularly the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday, in targeting Prince Andrew and using Epstein to tarnish his reputation. The plan included efforts to manage Epstein’s online presence, engage experts, and secure positive media coverage to reshape public perception in his favor.

Epstein’s commitment to supporting science and technology research was identified as a key asset in his efforts to rebuild his reputation, along with setting ambitious long-term goals aligned with charitable initiatives like the Gates Foundation’s malaria eradication campaign. Despite these efforts, Epstein faced further legal troubles in 2019 related to child sex trafficking charges and subsequently died by suicide while in custody.

In more recent developments, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson faced renewed scrutiny for their ties to Epstein after it was revealed they maintained communication with him despite previous claims of cutting all connections. The fallout led to the couple being asked to vacate the Royal Lodge, and both experienced repercussions in terms of royal titles and charitable affiliations due to their involvement in the scandal.
