Newlywed’s Honeymoon Tragedy: Bride Pushes Groom Off Cliff

Must read

After tying the knot, a couple’s post-wedding bliss turned tragic during their honeymoon on a fateful hike in a national park in Montana, USA. Jordan Linn Graham and Cody Johnson, married just eight days earlier, embarked on the ill-fated excursion on July 8, 2013. Graham reported Johnson missing the next day, claiming he had left in a dark vehicle after receiving a distressing phone call. Tragically, she later “found” his lifeless body during a hike in Glacier Park on July 11, with the recovery made on July 12 from a precarious viewpoint known as the Loop.

Amid suspicions and investigations into Johnson’s death, Graham initially misled authorities but eventually confessed to pushing him off a cliff edge during an argument about their relationship. Despite her initial denials, Graham eventually pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, leading to a 30-year prison sentence from US District Judge Donald Molloy in March 2014. She will serve the full term without the possibility of parole, followed by five years of court supervision upon release.

The case drew attention to the complex circumstances surrounding the tragic demise of Cody Johnson, shedding light on the disturbing events that unfolded during what was supposed to be a joyous honeymoon period for the ill-fated couple.
