A mother of three, described as “loving,” has passed away following a Brazilian butt lift surgery. Alicia Stone, aged 40, was urgently taken to Fundación Valle del Lili Hospital in Colombia after being discovered unresponsive in her hotel room around 6:30 am local time on Thursday. Sadly, the New York Police Department detective was declared deceased an hour later.
Reports indicated that Stone’s cause of death was labeled as “unspecified cardiac arrest.” Approximately a week before her untimely death, Stone underwent a liposuction and gluteal fat transfer procedure. Post-surgery, she had been on pain medication and anticoagulants and was recuperating in a hotel. Her husband, Michael Stone, expressed intentions to seek an autopsy and investigate the circumstances surrounding Alicia’s passing.
Speaking to the Daily News, Michael mentioned receiving a distressing call from the doctor in Colombia informing him of his wife’s demise. He expressed concerns over the lack of information provided, stating, “Something just doesn’t add up.” Recalling Alicia’s condition before the operation, Michael highlighted that she had been feeling fine, as shared with her relatives the day prior to her death.
