An ex-airline attendant has issued a cautionary tale about her unfortunate experience with cosmetic surgery in Turkey, where she endured two problematic Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBLs).
Alanna Pow, aged 22, initially had no reservations about opting for affordable cosmetic procedures overseas but now deeply regrets her decision. Recounting her ordeal, she describes a grueling recovery period that rendered her incapable of sitting comfortably for weeks.
According to Alanna, her buttocks and thighs were severely mishandled by the initial surgeon, and the subsequent procedure did not yield any improvement. After spending £18,000 and enduring two arduous 6,500-mile journeys, Alanna concluded that Turkey posed too much risk.
The Australian model recently underwent her third and, hopefully, final BBL procedure in her home country. She is now advocating against falling for discounted surgery packages abroad.
Expressing her dissatisfaction, Alanna, who boasts over three million Instagram followers (@alannasworldx), stated, “I wouldn’t recommend Turkey – I feel like I’ve been botched.” She criticized the first doctor for extracting excess fat from her lower thighs, resulting in an uneven and insecure appearance.
Alanna mentioned that she chose the clinic in Turkey based on an influencer’s recommendation, finding the booking process exceptionally easy and prompt. However, her experience with the second clinic, which offered a complimentary nose job with the BBL, resulted in lasting damage from the buttock surgeries.
Despite residing in Bali, Alanna was prohibited from flying for two weeks post-operation by the doctors. She revealed that her Australian surgeon advised her to book a business class seat to minimize pressure on her buttocks and prescribed daily lymphatic massages for six weeks, each costing £120, adding significant expenses to the surgery.
Alanna, despite the substantial costs and stringent recovery regimen, is pleased with the recent outcome of her surgery. She highlighted the improvements in her legs, hips, and waistline, crediting the use of Vaser liposuction in Australia for superior skin tightening compared to her Turkish experience.
Feeling more confident in her body after investing a substantial amount in her appearance, Alanna, who earns approximately £110,000 monthly, expressed contentment with her transformation but regrets choosing Turkey for her procedures.
She emphasized the importance of thorough procedures and regulations in Australia, contrasting them with the ease of booking surgeries abroad. Alanna underlined the necessity of adhering to stringent protocols to ensure satisfactory results and avoid complications.
