Craig Davies, 50, originally from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, lost his life around 12:20 am local time on the Chiang Mai-Lampang Highway. The fatal accident occurred when he lost control of his KTM 1290 Super Duke near an underpass, leading to his ejection from the bike and subsequent collision with the passing vehicles.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Adulsiri Wongtankard of the Mae Ping Police Station characterized the event as profoundly distressing, expressing condolences to the victim’s family and noting the shock experienced by witnesses. The British Embassy in Bangkok has been informed of the incident and the victim’s identity.
