Police are currently looking into the tragic death of a young boy who was fatally attacked by two Rottweiler dogs. The incident took place in Valdosta, Georgia, United States, where two-year-old Kaimir Jones was under the care of an unlicensed nursery.
The unfortunate event occurred while Kaimir’s mother, Adrianna Jones, entrusted him to Stacy Wheeler Cobb, the operator of the unlicensed nursery. Despite being the only child at the facility that day, Kaimir managed to wander into the yard where the two Rottweilers were kept. Tragically, the dogs mauled him before help could arrive.
Subsequent to the attack, Cobb was arrested and charged with second-degree cruelty to children and second-degree murder. In response to the heartbreaking loss, Adrianna initiated a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for Kaimir’s funeral expenses, which has garnered significant support.
Adrianna shared her emotional account of the day, expressing her devastation at the loss of her son and the harrowing scene she encountered upon arriving at the daycare. She emphasized the need for financial assistance for her son’s memorial service, as she did not have life insurance for him.
Chief Leslie Manahan of the Valdosta Police Department condemned the tragic incident, attributing it to negligence on the part of the caregiver. The community has rallied around Adrianna, contributing to the fundraiser to support her during this difficult time.
