Trump, 79 years old, thanked the sailors for their service at the US Navy’s 250th anniversary celebration in Norfolk, Virginia.
During his address, Trump praised his own presidency and criticized his political rivals, referring to the previous president as “horrible” and incompetent. He also expressed caution about his own potential for a fall, citing Biden’s multiple public falls at the age of 78.
At the same event, Trump claimed that he had foreseen the 9/11 terrorist attacks and could have prevented them if his warnings had been heeded. He cited writing about Osama bin Laden a year before the attacks and emphasized the importance of addressing the threat posed by the terrorist leader.
Trump also mentioned his careful approach to walking down stairs, advising to take it slowly and avoid rushing. He highlighted his attention to safety, particularly in light of his age and the potential risks of falls.
