“Google and Lenovo Unveil Chromebook Plus 14 for Power and Productivity”

Google has introduced a new Chromebook, the Chromebook Plus 14, in collaboration with Lenovo. This model is equipped with a MediaTek Kompanio Ultra processor, making it one of the most powerful Chrome laptops available. The processor’s ARM architecture ensures high efficiency, offering users up to 17 hours of battery life. The Chromebook features a 14-inch OLED display, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, multiple ports, a backlit keyboard, and a fanless design for silent operation. It also incorporates the latest Wi-Fi 7 technology for faster internet connectivity.

Being a Chromebook, the device comes with various smart features powered by Google, including instant photo editing, Google Lens for quick web searches, image creation tools, and a text simplification function called Help me read. Users also have full access to Google apps such as Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Google Photos, along with access to millions of additional Android apps through the Play Store.

The Chromebook Plus 14 starts at £599 for the base model, with pricing increasing for higher RAM and storage configurations. Benny Zhang, Executive Director and General Manager of Chromebooks at Lenovo’s Intelligent Devices Group, emphasized the device’s AI capabilities, catering to the needs of executives, artists, and everyday users alike. The Chromebook is designed to enhance productivity, regardless of the user’s location.
