Virgin Media is treating its customers to a complimentary TV upgrade by introducing two new channels. British Screen Classics (Ch 450) and wedotv movies (Ch 451) will now be available on the platform. These new channels will showcase content around the clock and are part of Virgin’s expanding lineup of free advert-supported services.
David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, highlighted the enhanced value and increased choice for subscribers. The addition of these streaming movie channels complements the existing offerings, providing viewers with more options and access to exciting movies at no extra cost.
British Screen Classics (Ch450) will feature a variety of film and TV classics sourced from renowned libraries like ITV STUDIOS and STUDIO CANAL. Viewers can enjoy a diverse selection of beloved titles spanning different genres including comedy, horror, war, adventure, drama, and romance. On the other hand, wedotv movies (Ch451) offers over 500 movies across all genres with themed programming such as Romance Mondays and Sci-fi Wednesdays.
Virgin TV users can expect the channel upgrade to take place automatically without the need for any manual intervention. This enhancement aims to provide an enriched entertainment experience for subscribers.
