Google has decided to unveil its latest Pixel smartphones earlier than usual, aiming to outpace Apple in the tech race. The company has introduced a range of upgraded devices set to hit the market before the anticipated iPhone 17 launch next month, offering various options and new features.
The lineup includes the standard Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and the extra-large Pixel 10 Pro XL with a massive 6.8-inch display. These phones are powered by the faster Tensor G5 processor, boasting enhanced intelligence, improved battery life, durable design with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, and rapid charging capabilities.
Opting for the premium Pro models grants users access to an impressive rear camera system featuring up to 100x zoom for capturing high-quality close-up shots, even in low-light conditions. Google’s signature AI technology is integrated into these smartphones, enabling features like full access to Google Gemini for interactive communication.
A notable feature in Google apps, Magic Cue, offers proactive contextual suggestions to users, suggesting actions based on on-screen text. The devices also come equipped with Camera Coach functionality, providing instant tips to enhance photos, ensuring every shot is Instagram-ready.
The introduction of Pixelsnap technology allows for easy attachment of wireless chargers, stands, grips, and other accessories to all Pixel 10 devices, similar to Apple’s MagSafe feature. The Pixel 10 range will be available soon in new vibrant colors, starting from £799.
Additionally, Google will soon release a foldable device called the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, featuring an 8-inch Super Actua Flex display that unfolds like a book. This foldable phone boasts the Tensor processor, extended battery life, fast charging, and a triple-lens camera. It is also IP68 dust and water resistant, adding durability to the innovative design. Priced at £1,749, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be available in a striking Jade color.
For Apple enthusiasts, Mirror Online suggests keeping an eye out for the next iPhone reveal scheduled for September 9th. Stay tuned for further updates on the latest tech releases.
