“Apple Unveils iOS 26 Features: Liquid Glass Look, Call Screening & Real-Time Translation”

Must read

Apple has officially announced that iOS 26 will be released on September 15, bringing a host of new features to iPhones worldwide. The update, first revealed at the WWDC showcase in June, introduces a fresh look called Liquid Glass, giving a glossy appearance to the interface.

Among the enhancements in iOS 26 is a revamped Lock Screen where the clock now adapts fluidly to the display space. Additionally, a new Call Screening feature has been added to block unknown numbers until the caller confirms their identity, ideal for avoiding unwanted calls.

For frequent travelers, iOS 26 offers real-time translation for calls and texts, allowing users to understand conversations in different languages on the go. The update also includes various other improvements and features.

While Apple does not specify a release time, past patterns suggest a likely launch around 6pm. It’s important to note that not all devices are compatible with iOS 26. The compatible iPhone models include iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16, iPhone 16e, and a range of older models down to iPhone 11.

This news was shared during the iPhone 17 launch event, where Apple unveiled more details about the latest products and updates.
