Samsung recently introduced its budget-friendly smartphone, the Galaxy S25 FE (Fan Edition), but it faces tough competition from Motorola’s latest offering. The moto g06 is set to launch next month at a price of just £69.99, significantly cheaper than the Samsung device.
Despite its low price, the moto g06 boasts impressive features such as a vibrant 6.88-inch display, a 50MP rear camera, a splash-proof design, and a soft luxe texture finish. It also includes Gorilla Glass 3 for screen protection and expandable storage via a microSD card, a rare feature in most modern phones.
Additional perks of the moto g06 include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Bass Boost technology, as well as a MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme chipset. Motorola promises smart AI upgrades like Circle to Search with Google and image editing tools such as Magic Editor, Magic Eraser, and Photo Unblur.
Alongside the moto g06, Motorola is also releasing the moto g06 power, featuring a larger 7000mAh battery that can easily last users a day and more. Motorola claims users can expect up to two and a half days of battery life on a single charge with the g06 power, priced at £89.99.
