There’s a new possible suspect for Anthony Fox’s murder according to Emmerdale fans.
A character that was recently mentioned on the ITV soap and left months ago could be back if a new theory is correct. Amid a brutal murder whodunnit that sees Anthony Fox killed off this week, someone who isn’t a named suspect could be in the frame.
Viewers are suspecting which character might be the one to deal the fatal attack on Anthony, with rumours being he gets shot. A flashforward showed him bloodied and lifeless on the floor of the depot, while it’s yet to be revealed how he dies and who kills him.
Aaron Dingle, Cain Dingle, Laurel Thomas and Caleb Miligan are amid the suspects, following it being revealed that Anthony had raped his daughter Ruby Miligan when she was a teenager. In a sickening twist Caleb found out Steph was not his daughter, but had been fathered by Anthony.
Steph is yet to find this information out but the details are quickly spreading amongst other residents. With Anthony set to meet a grisly end, fans think a return is looming for a former character.
With the return, fans think it will be this person who turns out to be Anthony’s killer. Nicky Miligan, Ruby and Caleb’s son, was mentioned by his sister Steph in a recent episode.
Viewers are suspecting in a massive twist, amid calls for him to make a comeback, that he might find out the truth about Anthony. But could he return and take the ultimate revenge on his grandfather?
It’s a possibility according to fans with some taking to social media to share their thoughts on who murders the character. One viewer commented: “I was kind of hoping there would be a twist and it was actually Nicky that came back and did it.”
Another fan said: “I would love Nicky back for this storyline actually. Imagine he’s actually the one that kills Anthony.” A third fan posted: “We need Nicky back.” Other fans wonder if Steph could secretly find out the horrific truth about her parentage.
While spoilers suggest she is the only one worried about her grandfather as he disappears, having been murdered, could she be hiding a dark secret in the weeks to come?
