Peppa Pig, Wicked dolls, Formula 1 Lego, and Hot Wheels are among the top toys recommended for the upcoming Christmas season. Industry experts and toy retailers have disclosed their predictions for the hottest selling products expected to make the 2025 DreamToys list.

One of the featured items is the Peppa Pig Oinks & Snuggles Evie Doll, which offers more than 20 interactive sounds and includes accessories like a playmat, bottle, dummy, bib, and blanket. Additionally, children can enjoy their own pet dinosaur with the Jurassic World Primal Hatch T.Rex, where they can hatch the dinosaur from an egg shell and engage in play activities.

The Wicked For Good Singing Dolls are also anticipated to be popular, particularly with the release of the final movie in the franchise this month. Celebrating its 75th anniversary, Formula 1 is represented on the list with Lego and Mattel’s Hot Wheels Racing F1 Grand Prix Circuit, along with the Monster Jam Smash & Bash Grave Digger RC.

Moreover, the list includes collectibles such as Dress to Impress Mystery Model Dolls, Mini Brands Fill the Fridge Playset, and Pokemon. Building sets, notably Lego, have been a rapidly growing category for the second consecutive year, with Speed Champions F1 Racing Cars and One Piece the Going Merry Pirate Ship making the list.

The UK toy market is valued at £3.9 billion, with Christmas sales expected to contribute significantly, accounting for 23% of total annual sales. Parents’ spending on children’s gifts has increased by 12% year-on-year, marking the fourth consecutive year of growth, according to market intelligence company The Insights Family.

Paul Reader, chairman of the DreamToys selection panel at the Toy Retailers Association, expressed enthusiasm for this year’s diverse toy selection, designed to inspire creativity and imagination. He emphasized the list as a helpful guide for gift-givers and shoppers during the festive season, highlighting the return to in-store shopping supported by families.

Melissa Symonds, executive director of UK toys at Circana, noted the positive growth trend in the toy market following a period of soft market conditions, indicating a favorable outlook for both toy manufacturers and retailers as they approach the crucial holiday season.
