A 14-year-old teenager has been apprehended on suspicion of the homicide of a 12-year-old child. The tragic incident occurred in the Hall Green area of Birmingham near Scribers Lane, where the victim sustained severe injuries from a stabbing on Tuesday afternoon. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the young boy succumbed to his wounds.

Authorities from West Midlands Police have confirmed the detention of the teenager in connection with the murder. Due to his age, the identity of the suspect cannot be disclosed. Images captured at the crime scene revealed a significant police presence in the vicinity of Trittiford Mill Park on Scribers Lane. The area remains cordoned off as the inquiry resumes, with multiple marked police vehicles visible on-site.

Despite the arrest, authorities are actively pursuing leads regarding the stabbing incident.
